solutions, announced today that Cisco and Spanlink will be hosting a free
social media customer care road show throughout Texas this June, featuring
keynote speaker and author, Eve Mayer Orsburn, CEO of Social Media Delivered.
The event, titled Social Media for Business: Managing Customer Care, Branding
and Communications, aims to educate contact center and enterprise professionals
of the importance of effectively leveraging social media platforms to engage
with customers and prospects. In addition, attendees will learn how to apply
social media across all practice areas of an organization to achieve business
goals.
“At this stage, the
majority of social media activities tend to live in the marketing departments.
During this event, we’ll share why and how companies should approach social media
comprehensively to involve all internal organizations, especially customer
service,” said Orsburn.
At each event,
Orsburn will discuss the Social Media
Business Equation, her proven methodology for deploying a social media
business strategy and subject of her latest book. Additionally, Spanlink will
discuss and demonstrate SocialWatch, their hosted social media service built
based on Cisco SocialMiner, a tool that helps contact center agents monitor,
respond and report on social media interactions.
