Nelson McClintock, IVR Administrator for the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment, will be presenting a case study based off the company’s Cisco and Spanlink deployment. The presentation, titled “Serving the Swelling Ranks of the Unemployed with Speech,” is scheduled for Tuesday, August 25 at 3:30 p.m. (D204: Speech in Government).

During this presentation, attendees will learn why CDLE chose speech, the design and deployment methods used, the positive feedback received and lessons learned. In addition, they’ll hear:
- How CDLEs new, Spanlink-deployed self service speech and web solutions handle approximately 30,000 claims per week; 23,000 of which come through on Sundays.
- How CDLE implemented a user interface built upon Cisco Technology that produces nearly 100 percent resolution allowing callers to accomplish a required process with no agent assistance.
