Spanlink Communications to Present at INTERNET TELEPHONY® Conference & EXPO East 2009

Clinton Fitch to Discuss Unified Communications at IP Communications Industry’s Leading Event at the Miami Beach Convention Center

MINNEAPOLIS, Jan. 28, 2009 — Spanlink Communications today announced that its Unified Communications Product Manager Clinton Fitch will present on a panel titled, Unified Communications Basics at TMC’s INTERNET TELEPHONY® Conference & EXPO East 2009. The panel will take place on Monday, Feb. 2, 2009, at the Miami Beach Convention Center in Miami, Fla.
The Unified Communications Basics panel will help attendees understand the steps to consider when selecting Unified Communications (UC) solutions, the business benefits of UC and how other organizations are using UC to improve processes and reduce costs.

“At a time where IT budgets are tighter than ever, companies are looking for solutions like UC; solutions that bring significant efficiencies while providing cost savings,” said Spanlink’s Fitch. “The Unified Communications Basics panel is designed for attendees who are considering UC solutions and want to learn how UC can improve productivity, internal and external communications and operational costs.”

“We are very pleased that Clinton will be participating in this year’s show. Spanlink is widely recognized and respected as an industry leader, and I am confident that our attendees will appreciate and value the opportunity to hear his perspective on unified communications,” said Rich Tehrani, TMC president and conference chairman. “Over the past twelve months, widespread deployment of IP Communications services by global service providers, businesses and governments has reinforced that this exciting technology is a viable, cost-effective communications solution. As a result, we are seeing a significant number of senior-level executives attending INTERNET TELEPHONY Conference & EXPO as a means of learning about the technology so they too can take advantage of its benefits.”

INTERNET TELEPHONY Conference & EXPO, held Feb. 2-4, 2009, is the world’s largest IP Communications trade show.  At the January 2008 east coast event, the show drew more than 7,000 buyers and sellers of IP Communications products and services. This year will mark the 10th anniversary of the east show and will be the 19th INTERNET TELEPHONY Conference & EXPO. TMC projects total attendance to exceed 7,000.

The Unified Communications Basics panel will take place from 12-12:45 p.m. on Feb. 2. David H. Yedwab, a partner at Market Strategy and Analytics Partners will moderate the panel. Kenneth Kuenzel, founder and vice president of Engineering and CTO of Convergence, and Buzz Kleinert, director of Market Operations at Siemens Enterprise Communications, will participate on the panel with Spanlink’s Fitch.

Registration for the show is now open. Anyone interested may register by visiting www.itexpo.com.
